With offices located in Homer and Kenai, Alaska, Cook Inlet Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CICADA) provides clinically proficient treatment services for alcohol and drug abuse. Our mission at CICADA is to provide quality care for addiction treatment to the Southwestern Kenai Peninsula. In these treatment plans, we teach our clients to develop coping skills, identify relapse triggers, and rebuild their sense of self-worth and confidence.

Our News

The history of the organization on the Kenai Peninsula spans more than 40 years of service. In 1975 we first became incorporated as "Cook Inlet Council on Alcoholism" which was our focus at that time. Then in 1983 we changed the name to the now current Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CICADA) we are all familiar with.
